Lighten Up. Light weight. Not a lightweight.
At just 900 grams (size Med, with all paint and hardware), the all-new F-Si is the lightest mountain bike frame Cannondale has ever made. It shaves 80 grams off the previous F-Si, and when you factor in the svelte new Lefty Ocho, you save a whopping 330 grams on the frame and fork (that's around 3/4 of a pound for you imperial folks). Pretty impressive.

The all-new Lefty Ocho is the smoothest, stiffest ultra-light XC fork ever made. Cannondale have totally reengineered the fork making the it the first single-crown, single sided suspension fork in the world. It floats through chop and steers through the choss like nothing else. Silky smooth and unfazed no matter how hard you push it. Happy to get in as deep as you dare. Its extra-long fork offset pairs up with the F-Si’s new, slacker 69° head angle to create OutFront geometry, giving you extra stability to charge the downs, with full XC agility on the ups. Helping the F-Si track perfectly through whatever you throw it into.
Ai Party in the Back.
Short chainstays do wonders for traction and nimble handling, but they usually come at a cost. Ya gotta give something to get something. Not so with Ai. Ai is our proprietary Asymmetric Integration drivetrain offset. By moving the gears and rear triangle over, we create space (double what you get from Boost) that enables us to shorten the stays AND still have clearance for big tires and room for 2x drivetrains if you want. It even creates a stiffer, stronger rear wheel by evening out the dish. Smart, right?
Our proprietary ballistec carbon lets us push boundaries and tune rigidity throughout the entire frame – for stiffness where you need it and compliance where you don’t. At just 900 grams (size m, with all paint and hardware) it's one of the lightest hardtails in the world, yet so durable we back it with a lifetime warranty.
Save micro-suspension tunes the overall compliance of the frame. The rear triangle flexes vertically for shock absorption. Directionally optimized carbon layup in the seat tube allows controlled fore/aft bowing, for better traction, higher speeds and drastically minimized fatigue, whether seated or standing. Go faster longer.
Hidden Seatpost Collar
For seated comfort, designing the f-si with a 27.2mm seat post was just the start. Our collarless seat post clamp takes it even further, lowering the clamping point so that more of the post can flex. Put the power down all day long, without the punishment.
Speed Release Thru-Axle
A faster kind of thru-axle. Slotted dropout design lets the axle stay in the hub for quicker, easier wheel changes. Compatible with standard 148x12 hubs. It’s a better way thru.

Single Crown Structure
The world's first single crown, single-sided suspension fork, for singularly impressive performance. Rather than being spread thin over two legs and a full crown, ocho focuses all of its material on just one side, giving our engineers unprecedented control over how and where the fork flexes.
Delta Cage Needle-Bearings
Don't bind. Roll smoother than ever with the new delta cage version of cannondale's legendary needle-bearing telescope assembly.
Where traditional forks slide on four sets of tight-fitting, friction-generating bushings, ocho slides on three, smooth-rolling packs of needle-bearings. No sticking, no binding. Just incredibly smooth suspension action, no matter how hard you push it.
Ocho's three-sided needle-bearing system creates a triangle-within-a-triangle interface between the inner and outer legs, which prevents them from rotating relative to each other for crazy-precise steering. Traditional forks, on the other hand, have round tubes sliding inside other round tubes for, well, less steering precision.
All-new self-bleeding, heat compensating, high flow damper, with external compression and rebound adjust. Smooth, supple, spike-free damping in all conditions.
