Stolen goat - Kuro Climb and Conquer Winter
This Kuro Climb & Conquer Winter Jacket jacket is for when the weather outside is cold, wet or both and you need to keep yourself warm and dry to enjoy your ride. Best suited to temperatures between -5 to 8°C the jacket will keep you feeling comfortable throughout. At the warmer end, you’ll probably wear the jacket with just a baselayer underneath and feel toasty. Perfect for crisp wintery conditions where the low temperature remains consistent throughout the ride; you won’t even dread getting caught in the odd shower.
Whilst the garment features a waterproof fabric, the seams and zips aren’t fully sealed to make it totally waterproof.
Water repellent and windproof outer layer. Designed for those consistently cold days this jacket aims to keep you dry and warm even when you face an unexpected shower or road spray, due to the overall water repellence of the jacket. The Tempest Protect fabric provides both a wind & waterproof shell to give you the confidence to keep you riding throughout the winter, on or off road. Designed for facing the very worst that winter can throw at you.
Soft brushed lining. The soft fleece-like Roubaix lining adds to the versatility of the jacket allowing it to be paired with a base layer or summer jersey on the coldest of days and, should the ride conditions warm slightly, remain comfortable against the skin should you ever need to wear it in isolation.
Covered zip. The covered zip helps protect against wind and cold penetration, a key benefit on those lengthy descents or the coldest of ride temperatures.
Pixel100 detailing. The rear pockets are made of Pixel100 fabric. Subtle in design, it’s a fabric that packs a punch in adverse conditions and deteriorating light by reflecting a light source like car headlamps. A perfect addition should you want to increase your visibility at night without compromising the look of the jacket during the day.
Camlock zip with garage. Great cycling kit can be ruined with a cheap zip. The YKK camlock is the best zip money can buy, allowing riders to fix a position without fear of it loosening with movement or the airflow from a descent. Another key feature is the zip garage. A simple and ingenious detail at the top of the zip that you won’t notice until you wear a jersey that doesn’t have it. Any jersey, particularly close fitting, with the zip fully closed can be uncomfortable; but the zip garage houses the zip minimising any discomfort to your neck.
Water resistant 4th pocket. The fourth water resistant stash pocket has a zip to save you losing valuables if you go over a big bump. It also protects vulnerable items like credit cards from potential damage and is sufficiently large to fit some of the bigger modern smart phones. It even has a headphone cable access, if you like bringing your tunes with you on your adventures.
Everyday Performance fit. This jacket is in keeping with the bodyline fit associated with stolen goat jerseys to minimise any flapping. If you are looking for a more relaxed fit to wear with more layers for low-intensity rides, you will need to size up.
